After researching on Taiwan, I have found out that the traditions and culture of the country are important factors that the government in Taiwan really wanted to preserve on. Although the people responsible for promoting tourism are using the authenticity of natural attractions as promotional tools, many of the places had more or less lost its authenticity due to commercialisation of tourism infrastructure. Even those indigenous groups, no matter how strong are their cultural values; globalisation had affected them in one way or another.
